Lions Head, Cape Town
September 17, 2021 by Manu Wegmershaus
Every now and again we are lucky enough to paraglide off Lion’s Head. The wind has to be just so, south west, not too light, not too strong. Lion’s head is the hill between Table Mountain and Signal Hill (or the lion’s tail).
Lion’s Head is a well known hike trail in Cape Town, also walked by many under the full moon. We like to walk up it, but not down, much easier to spread your wing and fly down! Soaring over Clifton and Camps Bay, surrounded by the Atlantic ocean. When flying from Lions Head there is a beautiful view of the atlantic seaboard, Table Mountain and down the 12 apostles.
