This policy sets out the terms governing bookings, payments, cancellations, and refunds for tandem paragliding flights and related activities offered by Cape Town Tandem Paragliding (“CTTP”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By placing a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
All clients participate in paragliding activities at their own risk. Prior to any flight, every client is required to sign an indemnity form. Clients under 18 years of age must have the indemnity signed by a parent or legal guardian.
A deposit of R350 per person is required to secure your booking. This deposit forms part of the total payment for your flight and will be credited toward your final balance.
The balance is to be paid at any time before, and no later than immediately after, the completion of the flight.
We accept cash, EFT, and credit card payments. All credit card payments incur a 3% handling fee to cover processing costs.
Bookings cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a refund of any amounts paid, or may be rescheduled to an alternative date subject to availability. The 3% credit card handling fee, where applicable, is non-recoverable.
In the event of a “no-show” or any cancellation within 24 hours of the booking date, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. No refund will be issued.
For the safety of clients and pilots, no alcohol consumption is permitted before or during the activity. Clients who arrive intoxicated will not be permitted to fly, and no refund will be issued.
Paragliding is highly weather-dependent, and wind conditions in Cape Town can change rapidly.
Due to wind variability, flight times may vary. Bookings may be delayed, postponed, or rescheduled at the sole discretion of Cape Town Tandem Paragliding, its owners, and management. Where weather affects your booking, we will always attempt to reschedule you to a suitable alternative date.
If weather cancels your booking and you are unable to reschedule, a refund may be issued. A 10% administration fee may be charged to cover banking, payment gateway, and administrative costs. The 3% credit card handling fee, where applicable, is non-recoverable.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Please allow 7 to 14 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank and payment provider.
The owners and management of Cape Town Tandem Paragliding cannot be held responsible for any loss of, or damage to, any property of the guest, including but not limited to phones, cameras, sunglasses, jewellery, and clothing.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your booking is the price quoted at the time your booking is confirmed and your deposit is received.
